An Albeego delegation has just returned from an extremely successful trip to Thailand where we participated in one of the region’s most important events in the telecommunication calendar.
Byond Mobile was an exhibition to promote awareness as to the capabilities of what the new 5G network could do for the digital economy in Thailand.
As a burgeoning UK Tech export company, we were privileged to be invited by the UK Department of International Trade to exhibit in the UK Pavilion. Albeego’s association with the UK-ASEAN Business Council keeps us informed of all notable events and we were very grateful for their guidance and support in preparing for the trip.
Realising the enormous exposure the event would provide for us in the SE Asia region, we were ecstatic to be able to exhibit Albeego’s mobile broadband solution in SE Asia for the first time. Invited as a keynote speaker, our CTO Colin Hamilton shared a panel with the UK DIT Chief Scientific Advisor Dr Mike Short.
Our packed schedule included planned meetings with key selected industry figures as well as attending networking receptions including meeting the British Ambassador and the trade team at the British Embassy.
The event was a resounding success. Not only did Albeego’s solution create an exciting buzz (pardon the bee pun!) amongst the distinguished delegates, but we were also able to identify and develop relationships with potential local business partners and international companies in the wider region regarding manufacturing, distribution, marketing, and various project opportunities.
